HEY March Project: Care Package Program

Help Elevate Youth exists to support young people experiencing instability - homelessness, foster care, and hospitalisation. We do so through the assembly and distribution of care packages containing food and hygiene essentials through trusted charities, with the ultimate goal of restoring dignity and providing consistent support to youth navigating instability.

As part of our March campaign, our team assembled 60 care packages on the 7th of March. Items included were: blanket, toilet paper rolls, dental kit, sunscreen, and pen, all packaged within a custom HEY tote bag.

We reached out to The Salvation Army (Salvo’s) and The St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) to distribute our care packages to our targeted disadvantaged communities. The packages were all successfully delivered on the 9th of March.

The charities received 30 care packages each from Help Elevate Youth. We’d like to express our gratitude to both Salvation Army and The St Vincent de Paul Society for collaborating with HEY to make this care packages program possible. Special thanks go to Beth and Ladan from Salvo’s and Vinnies respectively for helping organise the logistics of this campaign.

We extend this gratitude to all volunteers and donors who have made this campaign possible.

Support our work by making a donation or getting involved. Every contribution helps us provide essential care packages to young people in need. You can also contact us here.
