On 13th of December 2024, the Help Elevate Youth (HEY) team delivered 90 thoughtfully curated care packages to support homeless youth most in need in the Georges River Council area.
In collaboration with SGCH (St George Community Housing), this initiative was focused on assisting individuals and families facing housing insecurity by providing practical and comforting items.

These care packages were filled with essential supplies such as toiletries, toothbrushes, paste, sanitisers, sunscreen, blankets, and many other everyday necessities — all designed to ease the challenges of those suffering with proper housing.

With the incredible support of our donors, volunteers, and sponsors, we were able to fund, assemble, and deliver these hampers to SGCH locations, where their dedicated team ensured they were distributed to residents most in need.

We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to the SGCH team for working closely with us to identify communities that would benefit from this project. A special thanks goes to everyone who contributed to our fundraiser and helped make this outreach effort possible — your compassion and generosity truly make a difference. Finally, we'd like to appreciate the funding we received through Georges River Council in the form of a micro-grant, which helped finance this project!

At HEY, we believe in empowering youth to take initiative in their communities, and this project reflects the power of young people coming together to serve those less fortunate.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude towards Georges River Council's support in providing us with a $1,000 microgrant to make this campaign possible.
